Durion Heat
Durion Heat provides customers with 24/7 thermal energy for their industrial process heat needs.
Energy is generated via photovoltaics (PV), concentrating solar power (CSP) or purchased directly from the grid. It is stored in Durion’s propriety thermal storage system and can deliver continuous heat from 200kW to 200MW.
The system is ideal for customers who have 24/7 operations. The system requires 1-10 acres of nearby land. Durion will contract the current landowners to secure rights.

Energy is generated through concentrating solar power (CSP) collectors, stored in Durion’s proprietary thermal storage system, and delivers continuous power from 200kW to 20MW.

Decarbonizing industrial process heat and enabling 24/7 renewable power have long been hard to achieve. Durion’s proprietary thermal storage technology unlocks new possibilities. Using solar power to heat water and store it for later use enables a safe, reliable way to decarbonize 24/7 commercial and industrial operations.
Durion’s thermal storage technology cost-effectively enables up to 15 hours of storage – far longer than the industry norm. It achieves this with very-low-cost, pressurized hot water. Durion stores the water in steel pipes up to 300 feet long and manages the pressure and flow with its proprietary controls system. The hot water can be used for industrial process heat up to 300°C or converted to electricity. This approach enables customers to get consistent, 24/7 heat and power for less than utility rates.
